We provide advice and representation for all road traffic and motoring offences.
We can help whether you have received a fixed penalty ticket, are at the police station, Court, received a Postal Requisition or Notice of Intended Prosecution. We can assist in preparing your defence against a prosecution for a motoring offence or mitigate your case with a view to reduce the sentence and any Court costs you may have to pay. If your case is one that does not qualify for Legal Aid we can provide advice and representation on a fixed fee basis.
We provide assistance and advice in relation to all areas of road traffic law and motoring offences. Road traffic legislation can often prove complex. We can advise you about offences such as speeding, drink driving, failing to provide a specimen, driving without due care and attention and dangerous driving.
Howell Hylton is more than aware and have every empathy that a motoring offence can have a huge impact on your life and the lives of others around you. It’s important to discuss your case with you and establish whether you have any “special reasons” or “exceptional circumstances” as to why you should not be disqualified from driving. We are able to assist you with this advice.
Where possible we will endeavour to ensure that penalty points on your licence or a disqualification are avoided. Whilst a driving disqualification cannot always be avoided, with our help it may be reduced to ensure a minimum period to reflect your personal circumstances.
Our specialist criminal team will be able to guide you through the court process for motoring offences and achieve the best outcome.
